Two Kansas City area business officials joined an economic advisory council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
John Latenser, owner of Neff Packaging Systems in Kansas City, Kan., and Bridgette Williams, deputy director of the Heavy Constructors Association of Greater Kansas City, and six others joined the group. The council meets twice a year with Fed President Esther George to discuss the region’s economy.
Others named to three-year terms include officers of Blue Cross Blue Shield in Omaha, Promise Hotels in Tulsa, Okla., and Koch Industries Inc. in Wichita.
